INFINITIXX – Skill-Based Competition

Effective Date: 17 October 2025

These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern the INFINITIXX Competition ("Competition"), a skill-based competition operated in compliance with the Gambling Act 2005. The Competition includes Standard Competitions (trivia quiz-based) and Instant Win Competitions (code-based), as specified on our website. By entering, you agree to be bound by these Terms, any specific Competition Rules on our website, and our Privacy Policy.

1. Promoter

INFINITIXX Limited, registered in England and Wales under company number 16773730, with registered office at 124 City Road, London, EC1V 2NX, United Kingdom ("Promoter", "we", "us", "our"). Contact: contact@infinitixx.co.uk. Website: www.infinitixx.co.uk.

2. Applicability and Acceptance

These Terms apply to all entries via our website or postal routes. In case of conflict, Competition-specific rules on www.infinitixx.co.uk (e.g., prize details, entry fees, campaign periods, specific question/code, maximum entries) take priority, followed by these Terms. Continued participation after changes implies acceptance; material updates notified via www.infinitixx.co.uk.

3. Eligibility

  1. Open to residents of most countries worldwide aged 18+ (or the legal age of majority in their jurisdiction, if higher) with full capacity to enter binding contracts, except as excluded below.
  2. Excluded Jurisdictions: To respect local laws and avoid operating in banned or highly restricted areas, entries from the following countries/regions are not permitted: Brazil, Cuba, France, India, Ireland (Republic of), Italy, Japan, Mexico, Netherlands, Philippines, Portugal, Quebec (Canada), South Korea, Spain, Sweden, Taiwan, and any other jurisdiction where skill-based prize competitions with paid entries are illegal, require local licensing/registration, or impose undue tax/compliance burdens (e.g., US states prohibiting paid contests without bonding). This list is non-exhaustive and may be updated; check www.infinitixx.co.uk for the latest. We reserve the right to add jurisdictions based on legal changes.
  3. Excluded: Employees of INFINITIXX Limited, their immediate families, or anyone professionally connected to the Competition.
  4. Entrants must provide accurate details, confirm eligibility, and warrant that their participation complies with all applicable local laws (including but not limited to gambling, consumer protection, and tax regulations). We may verify and disqualify non-compliant entries. No purchase necessary via free postal entry.

4. Licence and Access

  1. We grant a limited, non-transferable licence to access the Competition for personal, non-commercial use. No copying, modifying, or using automated tools (e.g., AI/bots) to enter.
  2. Services provided "as is"; we aim for availability but disclaim interruptions due to technical issues. Register one account per person on www.infinitixx.co.uk (multiple accounts void prizes). International entrants must ensure access complies with local internet laws.

5. Prohibited Activities

  1. No fraudulent, illegal, or disruptive conduct (e.g., multiple accounts, VPNs to bypass geo-restrictions, hacking, harassment). Breaches may lead to disqualification, prize voiding, or legal action.
  2. Entries must be your own work; AI or third-party assistance disqualifies. VPN use to enter from excluded jurisdictions voids entries.

6. How to Enter

  1. Competition Overview: A skill-based competition requiring knowledge or judgment to qualify, compliant with the Gambling Act 2005. Includes: (a) Standard Competitions (single multiple-choice trivia question, theme-tied); (b) Instant Win Competitions (match a number/code with skill-based entry). Maximum entries per person per campaign as specified on www.infinitixx.co.uk.
  2. Paid Entry (Online): Register/log in at www.infinitixx.co.uk. Select entries, pay the fee (as specified on the campaign page, e.g., £2 or equivalent in local currency) via card, PayPal, or other methods listed, and complete the skill-based task (Standard: answer quiz; Instant Win: match code post-skill task). Multiple entries allowed up to the maximum specified. No refunds or credits for incorrect answers, unmatched codes, or withdrawn entries. International payments may incur currency conversion fees.
  3. Free Postal Entry: No fee (standard postage only; international entrants cover their own costs; no hand delivery). Send a handwritten postcard or letter to: INFINITIXX Limited, Free Entry – INFINITIXX Competition, 124 City Road, London, EC1V 2NX, United Kingdom. Include: full name, address, date of birth, email/phone, Competition campaign name, and answer/code (available on www.infinitixx.co.uk). Postmarked by the campaign closing date; one entry per card/letter, up to the maximum specified (bulk entries treated as one unless specified). Processed on receipt (business days); confirmation email sent where possible. Free entries have equal winning chances to paid ones. For low-price competitions (£1-£5), free postal entries may receive non-cash website credits proportional to postage value (e.g., equivalent to one entry), as specified on www.infinitixx.co.uk. Premium postage voids free status. International postal entries must comply with customs/export laws.
  4. Entry Period: As specified on the campaign page at www.infinitixx.co.uk. Late/incomplete entries disqualified. Entries become our property.

7. Skill-Based Task

  1. Standard Competitions: Complete a single multiple-choice trivia question per campaign, tied to the campaign theme (e.g., a question testing knowledge of products or brands featured, with 3 or more plausible options). The question and options are available on www.infinitixx.co.uk for postal entrants. Questions are designed to require genuine skill, knowledge, or judgment, with sufficient plausible alternative answers so the correct answer is not obvious, deterring a significant proportion of potential entrants and preventing a significant proportion from qualifying, per the Gambling Act 2005.
  2. Instant Win Competitions: Complete a skill-based task (e.g., trivia question) to qualify for a code/number match, as specified on www.infinitixx.co.uk. Only qualifying entries (correct answers) proceed to instant win determination.
  3. Qualification and Compliance: For both types, only correct answers qualify for the draw/instant win; incorrect answers or unmatched codes disqualify the entry (no refunds or second chances). Standard Competition ties (multiple correct entries) resolved by random draw among qualifiers, conducted by a verifiably random process—no further skill-based tie-breaker needed unless specified. Instant Wins are immediate upon code match. The task ensures success relies on skill, not chance, with independent verification (e.g., by PromoVeritas or equivalent) confirming no significant chance element and compliance with Gambling Act requirements. For compliance proof, we track and record failure rates (percentage of incorrect answers or non-qualifying entries) per campaign to demonstrate that a significant proportion of entrants are deterred or disqualified due to lack of skill, and these records may be made available to regulatory authorities upon request.

8. Winner Selection and Notification

  1. Standard Competitions: Post-closing, an independent judge or service (e.g., PromoVeritas) verifies correct quiz responses. Winners selected via random draw among qualifiers within 7 days. Reserve list of 10 alternates.
  2. Instant Win Competitions: Winners determined immediately upon matching a winning code/number, verified by an independent service.
  3. Potential winners notified via email/phone within 48 hours (Instant Wins) or 5 days (Standard). Respond within 14 days with verification (ID, eligibility proof). International winners may need to provide tax forms (e.g., W-8BEN for non-UK residents). Uncontactable/non-responsive winners forfeit; prize to next reserve (Standard) or unclaimed (Instant). Winner list (name, initial, county/region) on www.infinitixx.co.uk for 28 days and may be reported to the Advertising Standards Authority (ASA) for transparency. Decisions final; no correspondence.

9. Prizes

  1. Prizes (e.g., vehicles, electronics, travel packages, property, cash, or events) and approximate RRPs are specified on the campaign page at www.infinitixx.co.uk; subject to availability.
  2. Non-transferable; cash alternative at our discretion (50-75% of RRP, rounded to nearest £1,000, unless otherwise specified). Winners cover all taxes, duties, fees, delivery, insurance, MOT (for vehicles), travel insurance (for holidays), and additional expenses (e.g., visas, fuel, maintenance). We cover specific costs where stated (e.g., Stamp Duty for property). UK delivery standard; international shipping at winner’s expense. Vehicles right-hand drive; travel packages subject to provider terms and visa requirements. Storage free for 30 days. International winners responsible for import/customs compliance.
  3. We may substitute prizes with equivalent or greater value; liability capped at RRP.

10. Publicity

  1. Winners consent to use of name, image, and town/region for promotional purposes and ASA reporting. Opt-out by emailing contact@infinitixx.co.uk before the campaign closing date (does not affect entry chances). Published details ensure transparency under UK and international regulations.

11. Disclaimers and Liability

  1. To fullest extent permitted, we exclude liability for death/injury/damage/loss except from negligence, fraud, or non-excludable rights. Otherwise, liable only for foreseeable direct losses, capped at prize RRP or £100. International entrants agree to applicable local consumer laws where stronger.
  2. No liability for entry losses, technical failures, malfunctions, unauthorised access, force majeure (e.g., strikes, pandemics), currency fluctuations, or unawarded prizes due to errors (we may reclaim incorrect awards).
  3. We may void, suspend, or amend Competition for legal/technical reasons (including jurisdiction changes), refunding/recrediting entries as non-cash website credits where fair. Statutory rights unaffected.

12. General

  1. Governed by England and Wales law; disputes in those courts (international entrants submit to this jurisdiction).
  2. Severability: Invalid clauses do not affect others.
  3. Complaints: Email contact@infinitixx.co.uk per our policy; unresolved issues may be escalated to the ASA or relevant regulator.
  4. Complies with Gambling Act 2005 as skill-based with free entry, not a lottery or gambling. International compliance per local laws.

13. Data Protection

  1. Data (e.g., name, contact details, answers) processed for Competition administration, winner notification, and compliance, per Privacy Policy at www.infinitixx.co.uk, compliant with UK GDPR and international equivalents (e.g., Standard Contractual Clauses for transfers). No sharing except for prizes, law, or consented publicity. Opt-outs available.
